Thompson's cottage is located in the garden of our family home, with parking in front of the village hall, (next door) The cottage is a cosy space with a modern feel, comprising of one main living area with a king size bed, seating for 2, a small but well equipped kitchen and a modern stylish bathroom with shower. Sawley is within the Nidderdale AONB, and is a great central location for exploring the area, on bike, foot or by car. Please ask if can’t see dates you would like or to extend.

Mainly open plan inside the carefully chosen vintage and upcycled furniture coupled with modern kitchen and high quality finishing touches make this a great place to stay. Lots to discover in the area; close to Fountains Abbey World Heritage Site, historic houses, gardens, walk, cycle or take a drive in nearby Nidderdale and the Yorkshire Dales, Ripon 3 miles, Harrogate 11 miles. We look forward to welcoming you to our newly renovated Cow Byre. This is a separate building to our main home, and benefits from wonderful views. There is an open plan lounge and kitchen, with a breakfast bar, a house loo, and a double bedroom with large wardrobes and an en suite shower room. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.
