The Gardeners Cottage @ Corvisel - cosy & quirky! The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!
Peaceful bungalow in the heart of Galloway ForestKelpies Cottage is in Glentrool Village, the only village inside Galloway Forest Dark Skies Park. It's a beautiful peaceful location and as a designated Dark Skies Park you can expect to see some awesome starry skies, and if you're really lucky, maybe even Aurora Borealis. Glentrool is very much about the outdoors, with plenty of mountain biking and walking routes nearby. We are right in the heart of the stunning Galloway Forest with trees, streams, lochs and mountains right on the doorstep.
