The Ancient Mariner Retreat is located in Cape Woolamai, on Beresford Drive opposite the nature reserve that leads to the beautiful Colonnades surf beach! The Ancient Mariner is accessed through a gate that leads to your private court yard. On entering the retreat you step into a fabulous, newly renovated private studio apartment located at the front of the main house. This has plenty of light flooding through the large picture windows that are overlooking the Banksia trees in the court yard.

This bungalow is perfect for a little stop on this beautiful island. The bungalow has a basic kitchenette. The undercover BBQ also has a gas hob for cooking outside. The bathroom/toilet has recently been added to the bungalow. An outside shower for when you get home from the beach or need a quick cool down after a sauna. The split-system and electric blankets will keep you comfortable in all seasons. There is a lot of wildlife around such as possums, birds and our three curious cats.
