Glastonbury paradise retreat

Our house is just under Glastonbury Tor and has great views south across the Somerset levels. It is very peaceful and away from the main road. On the ground floor, we have a large double bedroom with french doors leading out onto its own patio. Bathroom (shower) adjoining. The price is for 1 or 2 people. If you bring a child or 3rd person we have also a single room next to the main room for £35 per night. We do not let the single room independently from the double room. The bathroom is accessed via the double room. TV/dvd and wifi available. Bed linen and towels provided. NB. If you wish to book both rooms please enter 3 persons. We invite you to send breakfast requests eg for non dairy milk. You are welcome to use our kitchen to make breakfast (and tea and coffee at any time) and sit out on the patio to admire the view! Our guests do not use our kitchen for cooking after breakfast. We have owls and badgers in the wood adjoining. We are literally a few steps away from the gate that will lead you up to the Tor. It's best if you can come by car and there is plenty of room for you to park in our driveway. If you come by bus, we are about a 15 -20 minute walk from the town centre. The pub is much closer! The nearest train station is Castle Cary and a taxi will take about 25 minutes to bring you here. Glastonbury is full of interesting shops and cafes/restaurants. Vegetarians are well catered for. There is often live music going on in the evenings. We are about 45 minutes by car to Bath and Bristol and Wells is about a 15 minutes drive. The Wheelwrights Workshop

The Wheelwrights Workshop is located at the end of an old barn which has since been converted into this lovely self catering cottage that sleeps two. Please note currently we are offering this cottage at a reduced rate as outside the main door of the cottage there is another old barn which is yet to be converted and due to that there is a little clutter. Rest assured though once inside the cottage you will not notice it and the bedroom window has views of the Tor our only cottage that does.
