Admire the Rugged Landscape at a Nature-Inspired Coastal Pad

Lovely and snug little studio on the seafront in a peaceful neighborhood a 15-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik. This fresh, airy nest tucked away in a peaceful part of the city boasts breathtaking views from a majestic cliff in the backyard of picturesque mountains and changing colors of the sea. Perfect base near the highways to the primary tourist locations. You will need a car. Lockbox self check in. The apartment is small but with everything you need and maybe more. I live in the apartment above. There are mainly villas in the street. The double/queen size bed has very comfortable mattresses. It is 160x200 cm. The bed linen is ironed and there are three towels for each guest. The wardrobe is 120x200 and is also probably big enough for one or two suitcases. The bathroom has a new shower, shower-cabin, basin, wall hung toilet and a radiator for towels. Also a hairdryer. The open kitchen has all basic appliances and a new Candy Trio which has a stove, oven and a dishwasher with a under cabinet range hood above. It also has a new Hotpoint washer and dryer in one unit. From May 21. 2018 there is a new Whirlpool fridge with a freezer below height: 160cm (not on the picture). There is also a toaster, water boiler, french coffee press, a microwave oven, iron and ironing board. The dining table is expandable. The TV is a new 32" Philips. There are a few channels like Sky News, CNN and more. Netflix is also available. There is a WiFi in the apartment. Apart from the apartment and your private parking space a few steps from your front door you´ll have access to the patio in front of the apartment. If you have more than one car there is enough free parking in the street. Most of the guests have rented a car and I recommend that. After booking I will send practical information to guests. It includes information on how to get to the apartment and how to get the key. The key is in a box by the front door which is opened with a code. I am easily approachable through Airbnb if I am not at home. Although this is a new apartment I have been a host on Airbnb since 2014. I had a studio apartment in my old home until I moved here a year ago. I am very proud of the reviews I got and was a super-host as it is called on Airbnb. This small suburb by the sea is home to a lot of walking and cycling paths, giving it more of a countryside feel. Alongside the local bird life, there's also popular salmon river nearby. The neighbors include a family of seals meters from the beach. I recommend renting a car. Taking a bus takes too long time when you are on a short vacation. It´s a 45 minute drive to the airport and 15 minute drive to the city center.

Spectacular place´ Wake up to the ocean dancing, birds singing and seals right outside your window. Approximately 50 kilometres outside of Reykjavik, more precisely, in Hvalfjordur is a little cottage located right by the ocean shore. On the ground floor is a joint kitchen/living room includes a microwave and a dishwasher. The kitchen view is the sea itself. Toilet with a shower On the second floor has a bedroom loft with 2 queen size beds and one single person’s bed.

Wonderful getaway in Iceland

Very nice and homey cabin in wonderful nature, only 45 minutes drive from Reykjavík. The cottage is located close to lake Meðalfellsvatn which is a beautiful lake with great fishing conditions.
