Into oza kuyenza

This experience focuses on transforming you from a complete beginner into a Nordic Walker! We conduct a quick safety briefing and you will be given an introduction into the history and origin of Nordic Walking. After a warm up, we go out to one of the farm's fields to put theory into practice! We move slowly through the 'steps' as developed by INWA - the International Nordic Walking Federation. I will guide you through the steps at a pace to suit you and build your confidence. At the end of the session we do a cool down stretch on the patio. I hope you will leave the experience having learnt a new skill and discovered a new world of fitness and enjoyment!
Other things to note
You do not need to be super fit to try this!
As the saying goes 'if you can walk, you can Nordic walk'.
However if you have had any surgery or illnesses it is advisable to talk to your doctor before booking.

Hi there! I'm a really keen Nordic Walker, and also into other ways of keeping fit such as running and cycling. I've lived in Snowdonia for 5 years and love the fact that we have beautiful walks on our doorstep. Nordic walking is an activity that is suitable for everyone and I really want to share the technique with people, so that they can go and make their own discoveries. I am originally from nearby Llandudno, and so have a great local knowledge about the history and geography of Snowdonia. Uza kube uphi

We will be based on my farm in Snowdonia - a working farm with cows, sheep, ducks and toddlers! We start on the patio for a briefing and introductions, followed by warm up session. We then use the front lawn and fields to learn and practice the Nordic walking technique. We stay at the farm throughout the experience so there will be plenty of chance to see the animals if that is of interest to guests.

We didn’t really know what to expect but we’re hoping we wouldn’t be exhausted exercising round a muddy field. As it turned out, this was a great evening. Jenny is a great teacher, patient and pitched it at our level. We felt pleasantly exercised and that we had learned a lot in a short time. Seriously considering getting poles and taking this up in the future.
