In this experience you'll learn how to make the genovese PESTO sauce pounding all the ingredients in the marble mortar of my grandmother and, finally, you'll enjoy a tasting that features the Pesto you made with Testaroli and a glass of Cinque Terre white wine.
In addiction to discover the history and traditions behind all the recipes, you'll get a typical ligurian culinary experience.
The experience will take place in a XVI century private home and we will respect the distances and all the rules antiCOVID

I'm Luca, an architect with the passion for cooking. Since i was a kid, I helped my grandmother when she prepared the daily meal for my family and the special recipes for the festivities. The private XVI century house is located in the village center. After few (!) steps you can appreciate the stunning view of the village and the sea from the roof terrace on the 3rd floor of the house (no elevator available).

Awesome! We enjoyed learning the history and variety of pesto recipes and especially enjoyed tasting our creation! Luca is great and made us feel right at home, like visiting an old friend. We had great conversation and lots of fun while we learned to make delicious pesto!

From start to finish “The Great Pesto Experience” was delightful. So easy to meet up with Luca and he is very knowledgeable. The pasta he used to serve with the pesto we made was delicious! And Luca is just fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon!
