Enjoy a 2-mile round trip hike along an easy/moderate trail to a mountaintop with stunning views. Once there, we’ll share an hour of yoga for all levels at the summit.

These mountaintop yoga hikes are an incredible way to relax into the wisdom and peace of the Blue Ridge. We’ll bring the mats. You bring your spirit of adventure!

I’ve spent the past 15 years exploring. I’ve held jobs that are more accurately described as “life experiences that paid me sometimes” including international hiking guide, wilderness therapy instructor, adventure yoga retreat planner in the Andes & Galapagos, and more. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to explore this wild world of ours and am equally as grateful to have called Asheville my "home base" since 2008. I love this mountain town and am passionate about sharing its most unique, meaningful experiences. As the owner of Asheville Wellness Tours, I work with a team of professional, certified yoga instructors who are passionate about sharing opportunities to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with you. These hikes take place on a local's favorite mountaintop just 45 minutes from downtown Asheville. Wander a forested path as your guide shares fascinating stories about the area and natural wonders along the way. At the summit, enjoy panoramic views as you sink into your yoga practice. This mountaintop paradise has plenty of wide open space and is rarely crowded...though it is sometimes visited by a herd of friendly cows as a bonus ;)

Our guide Mandy was excellent! The hike was relaxing with a little bit of sweat and the yoga was perfect for all levels. She was a thoughtful instructor and had all kinds of tips about Asheville for us. It was a perfect morning!

My husband and I were hosting my sister, and this was a great experience to share and to discover another part of Asheville. The hike was really easy and there are plenty of photo opportunities along the way. Once you reach the top, the yoga practice is a different way to connect with nature. Also, it helped me stretch my legs! We finished with a cup of warm tea, which was perfect for the weather. Overall a great experience and would recommend to others traveling in a group or individually.

We met our guide, Heidi, at the trail head. Heidi was so sweet and engaging. She pointed out things along the path and found the perfect and beautifully scenic spot for us to do yoga. Well worth the trip!! We highly recommend this experience!
