Into oza kuyenza

I was born on the Cape Flats, only coming to 'Town' as we called it, for special occasions - the Christmas Lights in Adderley Street or the Minstrels at New Year.

But the city always excited me. As an adult, working in one of these tall buildings, the best part of my day was taking a stroll through the Company Gardens at lunch. Fast forward a few years and the corporate world loses its pull and I take the plunge and decide to live my dream!!

Today, I am in my happy place when sharing the Mother City and her many secrets with guests who become family by the time they leave!!

On this tour we'll meet on the bustling Green Market Square, the 2nd oldest public Square in Cape Town, and take a stroll through the various periods that have shaped her. We'll rub shoulders with locals as we meander through St. George's Mall & the Golden Acre, to the Grand Parade and the Castle of Good Hope.

From there we'll head into our Slave history with a visit to Church Square & the Slave Lodge before making our way to my old lunch hang out, the Company Gardens.

Finally we deep dive into Apartheid before heading back to the Square.

As a born and bred Capetonian, I absolutely love the Mother City. Since I started living my best life and started guiding in 2017, I cut my teeth doing walking tours in the City. I'm energized by the hustle and bustle and I thoroughly enjoy crafting unique experiences for my guests.

I've discovered many secrets about the most beautiful city in the world over the years, and it's my absolute pleasure to share these with you!!

Uza kube uphi

The Mother City is a bustling modern city. Her streets are vibrant and loud.
Besides those who live there, the streets are filled with buskers, dancers, artists, informal traders, all doing their thing.

While walking the streets, we'll rub shoulders with locals as we meander along busy streets.

Be ready to be blown away!!

Anita was a great guide! We are a family of 4 with two little ones. We walked through all the historic spots in Cape town, and she was exceptionally knowledgeable. It was certainly a 'March through time', and we are very satisfied. Highly recommend her tours.
