I'll pick you up (or jump in your car/bus/van/etc) and bring you to the cheese factory.
You will wear headsets, so that you'll be able to hear me (the production room can be really noisy!).
We'll visit the cheese factory and have a tasting of this wonderful cheese at the end (the visit will last more or less 2 hours).
You can buy Parmigiano Reggiano after the visit and have it vacuum-packed.
Other things to note
Parmigiano Reggiano's production starts early in the morning.
We should be ready to leave at around 8am, at the latest.
The visit will last roughly 2 hours.

My uncle used to milk his own cows for this cheese factory and I've been eating this Parmigiano Reggiano since my childhood!

Lauretta’s personal connection with the cheese producers and the cheese master, along with her welcoming personality, made this Experience a very positive one. Communication leading to the tour was very clear, and she was able to suggest the trains to take from Modena to arrive in time to see some key elements of production. The process in this artisanal factory were clearly explained, and we were able get very close to the cheese makers to understand the hard work and dedication that go into making this DOP cheese. We observed all the stages of production, the storage, and even how the cheese is tested to make sure it meets certification standards. A highly recommended tour!

Lauretta is extremely knowledgeable about the production of Parmigiano Reggiano having grown up near the factory that her uncle provided milk to. She gave us an incredible and intimate look at every step of the production. We even left with plenty of cheese to take home! I would highly recommend a tour with Lauretta.
