Into oza kuyenza

Dear visitor,

would you like to discover hidden treasures of the bohemian quarter of Munich? Would you like to learn more about German society, culture and lifestyles and how do the Germans tick?

Then I would like to invite you to this discovery to explore Germany from the perspective of an insider.

The walk starts at the beautiful Ludwig-Maximilians-University, where we will talk about history, science and education. After that we browse through the student quarter and explore backyards and hidden treasures. We chat about society and different lifestyles in Munich and Germany.

The society in Germany is very diverse. Therefore, I would like to give you some insights into the different social environments and show you examples of how people shape their lives. We talk about intercultural topics and how do the Germans tick.

At the Königsplatz we see how the city reflects the past and what we can learn for the future.

Last but not least we visit a café at the TU Munich to enjoy the wonderful view.

Looking forward to meeting you!
Best regards,
Alexandra

I recommend this experience if you want to know more about the current and past german culture, and at the same time get to know spaces of the city that are not shown in a typical touristic walking tour.

The walk/talk with Alexandra was a great experiend. It was my first time in Germany and she managed very well to give me an insight into German culture and society. Lot of topics and nice views, I enjoyed the roof garden at the university!

Meeting Alexandra was a very nice experience, she knows about culture and her experience is very interesting, we visited the Bohemian district in Munich and I understood and learned a lot of nice things. I will recommend doing the visit of Munich with her.

This is not really an excurtion in the city it is really an intercultural talk. Very interesting and well prepared, some stories from the Germany past, some stories of nowadays. I was surprised to hear I'm only 2nd guest in this project, peolpe should participate in it. As the talk went on we started our walk at the Univercity and then proceeded through very nice students district to district of Swabing. Both these place are the most interesting I've seen in Munich, so Alexandra made a great favor showing them to me.

Absolutely wonderful experience and, for me, a much better and “fresher” understanding of German/Bavarian culture. Munich is such a great backdrop, so rich in history and, Alexandra a true gem. Thank you, I look fw to coming back one day soon. MG
