Into oza kuyenza

This private bike tour for four guests gives you an insider take on Provincetown's art, culture and history.

You’ll get exclusive access to places that other tours just pass by, and you'll get my inside take on the must-do activities and hidden places that are off the beaten path.

We'll start by fitting you with a bike and helmet — then we’re off around town. I’ll give you an overview of everything you need to know for your visit, how to navigate the quirky traffic on Commercial St., and give you the lowdown on what’s new, old, and upcoming.

The ride is relatively flat with a couple of hills and we will ride at a slow pace so you can take in the sights along the way.

Some of the places we'll check out include:
A hidden art gallery on the beach,
A working artist's studio,
The oldest house in town,
An abandoned pier and railway,
An artist-focused coworking space,
The pier where playwright Tennessee Williams lived while he wrote his most famous plays,
The new dune that the town is building on the harbor to combat sea level rise,
Resting places of artists and writers,
The oldest continuously operating gay bar in the US, and
My favorite foodie haunts that are open year-round, including the best coffee town!
Other things to note
Arrive 15 minutes before the booking time to get fitted with your helmet and bike. We will encounter a couple of hills, but the ride is mostly flat.

We will meander through the maze of one-way streets to the West End, through the center of town to the East End, and then back to the bike shop. We'll go inside a working artist's studio, see where the town is building a new dune, and wander down a couple of alleys to see hidden art and LBGT hot spots.

I did this bike tour on my first morning in Provincetown, a town I’d never been to before. It was an excellent way to get a lay of the land of land, complete with personalized tips for navigating my way around after the tour.

Rik was awesome! The tour spanned a great portion of the town -- he brought me to some areas I wouldn't have otherwise seen as well as shared a lot of insight and history. He's super friendly and very accommodating if you have particular interests to learn about. This is a must-do if you want to learn about the town as well as go on a beautiful bike ride! Highly recommend.
