We will enjoy an outdoor yoga session in one of the most emblematic parc of the city. This class will bring energy to our body and peace to our mind! We will start our session with a quiet moment to arrive slowly in our practice. I will guide these few minutes so that each student quiet its mind and observe the moment. We will then follow with specific postures to stretch and warm up our body. From there we will start the class sequence, with adapted Sun Salutations and other postures. There are few stretching postures at the end again. We then go on to Savasana for the final relaxation. We close our session with a OM and a practice of gratitude.

NB: the class is in french, but I demonstrate the postures and can translate some instruction

I am a Yoga teacher who certified in Rishikesh, the Yoga capital of the world in India. I have travelled in South America and Asia for more than 1 year and a half and I let my travels inspire my Yoga classes. I taught classes in Bali, where classes are lively, often to the sound of music and like to integrate this in my classes. I teach dynamic Vinyasa yoga in which the sequence of poses is linked to the breath in order to achieve a continuous flow. Our Yoga class will happen in the beautiful Palais Longchamp and its remarquable garden. It's a historical monument created to celebrate the creation of a canal to link the city to the river Durance. It's also the only parc in the city centre of Marseille, so it is a very important place for the local community.

Yoga with Alice was great! She selected a good area in the park that was shaded and cool and we weren't disturbed. She made it very easy to find. She spoke in English and French although I was the only non-French speaker which was super helpful. I would say it's a class stuitable for all levels, leaning towards newcomers.

Having had the chance to participate in Alice’s Yoga class which was held on the lawn of Parc Longchamp just a minute walk away from the famous Palais Longschamp with its beautiful waterfalls was a pleasure and a privilege. We were given such a warm welcome by Alice. Even though being French, she speaks a perfect and clear English and went to great lengths to make sure we would be comfortable during our 1 hour yoga session.
