I-Lfty 's Stand
Lefty's stand was owned by the late Leonard Riddiford. One of the few successful left handed shearers in the sheds, he was known widely throughout Aus as Lefty. He joined a shearing team at sixteen as a roustabout and travelled across the Nullarbor to Queensland on a bullock team and two Model T Fords, learning to shear along the way. Lefty passed away in 2022 at age 93 and the house has since been lovingly restored by his son and family for you to enjoy.
