We're about 10 miles/30 minute drive from Seaside Heights and Island Beach State Park, which is truly the jewel of the Jersey shore -- 10 miles of pristine beach. About an hour south is Atlantic City. Our house was built in 1923 and is two blocks from the Toms River which is the main attraction for us personally. In a four-block radius are the post office, little library branch, ice cream parlor, large CVS, the guarded river beach, a park, a great diner and 3 other excellent eateries.
