Other places that you can visit are Cherbourg (20 km), the ports of St. Vaast-La-Halle (15 km) and Barfleur (20 km), known for their oysters. Many boats depart from St. Vaast, for example to the small Kusteiland Tatihou (Maritime Museum), or to the invasion beaches (Utah Beach).
