In the heart of the Tuscan countryside, between Pisa and Volterra, surrounded by oaks and wild myrtle, lies Villa Fonteintanata, a unique farmhouse from the beginning of the 17th century with 81 hectares of land, mostly covered by untouched forests, and wild fauna. A retreat here means re-connecting with nature, tradition, arts and our ancestral culture. The Soul of Villa Fonteintanata is our kitchen and our bespoke private dinings experiences, a mix of traditional Tuscan food with a contemporary approach. All prepared with seasonal organic products directly from our garden or local farmers. 3 king-size bedrooms with 3 ensuite bathrooms with bathtub/shower, a big living room,a pool table, a kitchen, a wine cellar, a patio with barbecue, a wood oven, a sea-salt swimming pool. 83 hectares of forest, fields and park surround the Villa giving it a sense of complete privacy. Your accesses to the Villa and swimming pool are private and you may wish to spend your holiday in total privacy. As previously said, your accesses to the Villa and swimming pool are private and no one will bother you during your stay. However, if you'd like to furtherly enrich your experience here at the Villa we would love to enjoy your company, allowing you to partecipate in outdoor experiences connected to the farm or enjoy food tastings, breakfasts and dinners, always home made with local ingredients. 83 hectares of forest, fields, and park surround the villa, giving complete privacy. Go for a walk at sunset, heading past oaks and myrtles, returning to dine on fresh ricotta and pecorino produced by the nearest neighbors, a whole kilometer away. A 3-6km walk divides us from Casaglia and Miemo, two little medieval suburbs really worth a visit! Cecina, the main town, is a 15-20 minutes drive. A lovely seaside town full of shops, bars and beaches. 12-13km from Casale, Montescudaio and Guardistallo; 3 historical towns with nice restaurants and small shops. Livorno (36 km) Pisa (47 km) Siena (55 km) Firenze (67 km) Are you adventurous enough to sit down in our garden table and taste our traditional tuscan meals ...with a slightly different twist? How about one of our favorite pizza's cooked in the garden's wood-oven: gorgonzola cheese, pears and a zest of our very best extra vergin olive oil? ...or a delicious Chianina meat steak served with balsamic vinegar and grated black truffle from the garden If savoury isn't your "thing" and you have more of a sweet-tooth let us treat your afternoon with a homemade ice-cream by the swimming pool!
