At the end of 2020, this house was completely rebuilt and equipped with all modern and luxurious features. During the renovation the characteristic elements of the house have been preserved and nothing has been changed on the outside. Paesens Moddergat is een van de mooiste plekjes van Nederland, ligt 10 minuten rijden van het Nationaal Park Lauwersmeer en 10 minuten van het elfstedenplaats Dokkum. Activiteiten: wadlopen of zwerftochten ( zie Oan e'dyk) dagje Ameland, dagje Schiermonnikoog, vis eten in de visserij haven van Lauwersoog, zeehonden tochten. Ook zeer geschikt voor vogelspotters (zie natuur fotografie Lauwersmeer) welke vogels in en rond het Lauwersmeer leven.
