HOLA! I'm Changa, Omar's brother & your guide! I invite you to a corner of Cuba that most visitors don't experience. A rural family run tobacco farm - NOT one of the touristic ones! We meet at the entrance to the National Park, mount my horses (don't worry - they're the best in the valley, I treat them like my family). We ride approx 30 minutes to visit a hidden cave (NOTE: this activity is weather dependent & will be decided on the day of your experience). Bring a torch, and swimwear if you're feeling adventurous! Now we ride to our tobacco farm! We spend some time here; we show you around the crops, before heading inside the tobacco drying house where you'll be shown how we roll the world famous cigars and how to smoke them - naturally with a swig or two of rum for the full Cuban effect! Here we also try local honey, coffee & rum that we make here in Viñales. It's lunchtime, al-fresco! Home-cooked, typical Cuban food: rice, beans, seasonal vegetables, root vegetables like malanga or yucca, and the dish of the day: eg chicken/lamb/'ropa vieja'. *Drinks aren't included - I recommend the mojito!! *Vegetarian/vegan/any other dietary requirements, we can happily accommodate! We will meet at my house in the center of Viñales and from there we will start our experience in the mountains. For beginners, an explanation of the safety rules will be made and we will choose some routes to climb that will be appropriate for everyone depending on their level. Experts or not, everyone will have the opportunity to climb several routes to the top of a mogote or mountain. From there, you can take a break to enjoy the beautiful view of the Viñales Valley. We will climb as many routes as you wish during our time together. To end our adventure, we can stop at a local farm to enjoy natural juice or a mojito. We start from our meeting point and we move towards the Valley of Viñales, during the darkness of the night, the stars and the crowing of the roosters we begin the excursion towards the mountains, we walk approximately 50 minutes until we reach a welcoming family from the mountain where we will enjoy our first natural coffee or natural juice and then continue to the point where we can appreciate the Dawn of the Viñales Valley. Después de finalizar mis estudios yo (Mario) actualmente vivo en el poblado pero parte de mi familia aun vive y trabaja en el campo entre ellos los Guías. No se pierda esta experiencia guiada por campesinos auténticos, ademas ofrecemos la misma aventura que otros prometen pero al mejor precio. Les mostraremos el Parque Nacional Viñales desde nuestro humilde punto de vista, lo realizaran a caballo o caminado según usted prefiera, visitarán granjas y casas de cultivo de tabaco donde se les explicará el proceso del cultivo del tabaco y del café además de la miel, y también visitaremos lagos donde tomar un baño si lo prefiere, estaremos muy cerca de los majestuosos mogotes donde podrá visitar una cueva y apreciará vistas del Valle Inolvidables. Solo si lo desea y como opción adicional siempre bajo petición lo siguiente: Si su grupo desea almorzar o cenar, puede contactar con nosotros para hacer el pedido, se le reservará un almuerzo campesino típico por un precio adicional de 10.00 EUR por persona. Excursion à cheval dans les vallées de Viñales. Avec visite de "Los Acuáticos montaña", où nous descendrons du cheval pour gravir la montagne, à pied, pendant ~1,5km. pour découvrir l'une des dernières familles qui pourra vous expliquer leurs croyances peu communes concernant les propriétés thérapeutiques de l'eau pour guérir, ainsi que pour déguster un "Guarapo" jus de canne à sucre. Le toute avec une vue élégante sur la vallée. Nous visiterons un lac naturel où vous pourrez vous y baigner, une plantation de tabac où les explications du processus de plantation et fabrication de cigares vous sera enseigné par un paysan, né dans la vallée. Vous allez aussi découvrir les plantations de café et avoir les explications sur les différents processus de plantations et transformations ainsi que la découverte de la Guayabita del pinar (rhum traditionnel del Pinar del Río) et du miel de la vallée. Vous allez vous plonger dans un décor typiquement cubain, la vallée Palmarito est un site classé naturel et protégé par l'Unesco. 8 heures d'excursion au total, plus ou moins 4 heures sur le cheval. Vous terminerez la journée par un souper traditionnel cubain dans la maison familiale de José-Manuel. En dependencia de la temporada, podremos observar las plantaciones de tabaco, visitaremos la casa donde se secan las hojas de tabaco, aprenderemos como se fabrica un ¨puro cubano¨ y tendremos una oportunidad unica de fumar un ¨puro tradicional¨ directamente fabricado por al campesino. Ademas si usted lo desea puede comprar los puros que son fabricados por el campesino para llevar como regalo y para ayudar a la familia del campesino. Durante esta excursion aprendermos todo sobre el proceso del tabaco y al final conoceremos el porque el tabaco cubano es el mejor del mundo.

Si eres amante de las bicis no puedes perder esta oportunidad y acompañame en este tour de aproximadamente 4 horas donde juntos podremos conocer y descubrir el Valle de Viñales de una forma diferente. El Valle de Viñales que fue declarado Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1999 y aprobado como el primer Geo Parque de Cuba en 2021 es una maravilla de la naturaleza. Visitamos el Mirador de los Jazmines, donde podremos disfrutar la vista más famosa del Valle de Viñales y donde observaremos las encantadoras formaciones de mogotes, únicas de su tipo en todo el mundo. Despues nos dirigimos hacia la Cueva del Indio, interesante lugar donde caminamos al interior de la montaña observando diferentes formaciones de estalactitas y estalagmitas, y realizamos un pequeño viaje en bote por el rio subterráneo que atraviesa la cueva. Tambien visitaremos una finca local de tabaco, donde tendremos una oportunidad de aprender sobre el apasionante mundo del tabaco. En esta finca, conoceremos de cerca la vida de los campesinos, como cultivan el mejor tabaco del mundo y como elaboran los puros artesanales. Al terminar nos dirigimos hacia el Mural de la Pre- Historia donde tomaremos la mejor piña colada. Si estas en La Habana y tienes poco tiempo, no pierdas la oportunidad de realizar esta experiencia.
