Stroll to the calm waters and beaches of Pumicestone Passage and its meandering foreshore park, shops and cafe/restaurants, 5 minutes' drive to Woorim surf beach.
A quiet, handy location in our self-contained, air conditioned, 2-room + small ensuite (bathroom) guest suite with free WiFi.
Please note that Windsong@Bribie is not suitable for smokers or pets, inc. assistance pets, due to allergies and the open driveway.

Indawo
Windsong is a self-contained guest suite at the front of our house, named for the soft, melodic wind chimes we have hanging in our garden area.

Windsong includes:

* a separate bedroom with comfortable queen bed ensemble,
* a wardrobe and tall boy storage
* a desk with a large drawer
* free WiFi

* a small ensuite bathroom with shower/shub, toilet and hand basin

* a living room with sofa bed, TV, DVD and kitchenette.

The kitchenette has:
* 2 x large bar fridges, both with small freezers
* microwave
* toaster
* electric frypan
* cutlery, crockery
* starter of teas/coffee, sugar and treat.

There is a jack-and-jill setting on the covered pathway patio just outside Windsong, a lovely, sunny place to enjoy a morning cuppa.

There is a separate laundry and clothesline, keys available on request.

Windsong is built from hollow cement blocks which have their own insulating properties and there are louvres to help with cross breezes.
There is also a 5kW reverse cycle air conditioner and a desk fan for your added convenience.

Peaceful location away from the traffic noise of the foreshore road (Welsby Parade). 300 metres' easy walk to the foreshore park and calm waters of Pumicestone Passage.
Bongaree has several eateries catering for all budgets, including the Bowls Club and RSL, as do other areas of Bribie Island and the Sandstone Point Hotel.
We can also recommend Beachmere Tavern and the Caboolture RSL, both do nice meals and are approx 20 mins' drive.
For bird lovers, Buckleys Hole is a lagoon on the southern tip of Bribie Island, a conservation area that is home to a variety of birds including pelicans and Royal Spoonbills. The man of the house, Col, is a keen birdwatcher so more than happy to talk about those with you.
If you'd like to explore further afield there are 4WD tours from Woorim to the historic WWII fort locations on the northern end of the island, and some lovely scenic drives and eateries in the hinterland, including the areas of Mt Mee, Samford and Dayboro.
