Oasis in the city - charming 1940s home with 21st century technology and 2 more rooms available (book separately) - all with free wifi, parking and private pool. Centrally located on a quiet, leafy street, we are 7 minutes walk to the city and vibrant Braddon district with its restaurants, cafes and nightlife. Close to all major attractions - the War Memorial is just up the road. Great access to public transport including Canberra tour buses. My place is good for business and holiday travellers.

You will get a very warm welcome at The Evergreen B&B and we would like you to feel at home in our beautiful heritage house during your stay. We offer a traditional B&B experience. There are three private guest bedrooms. This listing is for our queen room which has a queen size bed and standard single. Other rooms need to be booked separately.

There is a separate guest entrance with shared lounge room, dinning room and two outside entertainment terraces with BBQ and a large outdoor private pool area to make your stay even more enjoyable. The dining room has a fridge, microwave, small oven, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities. There is free wifi throughout the premises, smart tvs in all bedrooms and guest lounge and free onsite parking.

Our goal is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible so your feedback is always welcome and appreciated.

The Evergreen is in a great location - minutes walk to the city centre and vibrant Braddon cafe culture and night life. No need to worry about parking, leave your transport at your accommodation free of charge and just stroll into the city. We are just down the road from the Australian War Memorial and Mount Ainslie and close to Canberra’s other major attractions.. Those who fancy a short hike up to the top of Mt Ainslie will be rewarded with one of the best views in Canberra. Braddon is one of Canberra's oldest suburbs with beautiful parks, play grounds and Lake Burley Griffin just a short walk away. It is also home to some of Canberra's best shopping and night life with loads of restaurants, cafés and bar and boutique shops. Needless to say The Evergreen is a prefect location which we are sure you are going to love. See you soon!

Hi I am Pete and friends and family call me Dickie. I am from Dublin in Ireland so you'll get a very warm welcome when you stay with us and of course you will be very well fed with your full Irish breakfast or our healthy continental choices. I live with my partner Chloe and our beautiful daughter Saoirse Nellie. I am well travelled and have loved travelling all my life so I know what our guests need and want during their stay. I spent a number of years travelling around Australia and we lived in Europe for 12 years before returning to Canberra in 2011. Chloe is born and bred in Canberra so you will have great local knowledge. My main aim during your stay with us is to make your time in Canberra as pleasant as possible.
