Situated on the oldest street of Sibiu, just 5 minutes away from the large square called "Piata Mare", our studio has 2 fully furnished rooms, a equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The apartment features a separate bedroom, a small kitchen (in the living room), a living room and a bathroom with bathtub. The living room has a comfortable large pull-out sofa, that can be turned into a dobble bed. The bedroom has a king-size bed, a desk and a sliding wardrobe. Amenities include a flat -screen TV, a hairdryer, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, etc. Cable TV, free parking and access to wi-fi are elements that round up an extremely pleasant stay in the heart of Sibiu.

The Lower Town (German: Unterstadt, Romanian: Oraşul de jos ) was developed around the earliest fortifications. The streets are long and quite wide for medieval city standards, with small city squares at places. The architecture is rustic: typically two-storey houses with tall roofs and gates opening passages to inner courts.
The Old city part is known for its nice old buildings but also for some good food and cafes and nightlife spots.
The 9 Mai Street is part of the historical and architectural heritage of Sibiu. It is the oldest street of the town, being called for a long time ’’Elisabeta” Street.
Our house is quiet but just few streets away from some of the best nightlife in Sibiu: in summer there are plenty of pubs and bars with terrace in the little square, which is just 5 minute walk away from our apartment.

The Open Air Museum is situated 8 kilometers away from the city centre, spreads across a 96 ha area and is the largest open air ethnographic exhibition in Europe. The Paltinis Ski Slope (called Arena Platos) can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The salty lakes of Ocna Sibiului are 18 km away from city center.

The Sibiu International Theatre Festival is an annual event hosting the world's prime performing arts. The festival is the third largest in the world in terms of its audience, which reaches around 60.000 a day, and the number of countries involved. Moreover, the festival is the third worldwide concerning its 350 events and 60 venues. Besides art events, the festival features several projects, seminars and colloquiums, aiming to stimulate dialogue between its visitors.

I am Iulia and I was born in Sibiu. I am a fun, easy-going person who enjoys travelling, cooking, cultural events and spending time with my friends and family.
Together with my mother Genica, who lives in Sibiu and works on the same street with the apartments, we manage airbnb apartments besides having normal jobs. We’ve been told, we are a good team, our guests are very international and we are enjoying this a lot, since we are both very interested in other cultures.
In the last years, Sibiu has become a hot spot for tourists visiting Romania. We are very happy to welcome you in Sibiu, our apartments are very central, cozy and comfortable, with sights, restaurants, bars and nightlife within easy walking distance. My mother, Genica is a very open and dynamic person and knows the city very well so that he can make good recommendations and provide you with the best insider tipps :). I am in charge of the reservations and the details until the guests arrive to our locations. My mother, Genica is taking care of all other details if needed since she works very close to the apartments and can be there in a moment.
We both like the Airbnb concept a lot, it is not just about offering accommodation, for us this experience is an exchange between people who love to travel and share their stories.
