Hostel Dalmatia is located just a few minutes walk to the beach with some of the best views of the mountains and the sea that Croatia has to offer. You can reach both Omis and Makarska in 20 minutes by car, Split in about 45 minutes. There are lots of fun things to do in the area: from swimming and snorkeling to hiking, kayaking, rafting, canyoning zip-line and mountain climbing! The surrounding islands of Brac and Hvar you can visit on a boat tour featuring a delicious fish lunch.

We have three private rooms and a mixed dorm room.
Room 2 has a large double bed, a single bunk bed and a couch that can be turned into a sofa bed. It fits 4 people.
All rooms have their own balcony, boasting stunning views across the mountains, the Adriatic sea and the islands. Also, all of them have their own en-suite bathroom, with separate shower, toilet etc.

Marušići is a small village on the Omis Riviera, located less than an hour away from Split en route to Dubrovnik. The village has a two restaurants serving local dishes. There is a supermarket in walking distance (10 minute walk).

Within a few minutes walking of Hostel Dalmatia guests can reach some of Croatia's most stunning beaches, with crystal clear waters and opportunities for swimming, diving, cliff-jumping and snorkeling. At night the water frequently lights up with luminescent plankton, seeming to glitter like the stars as you move through the water.

The nearby towns of Omis and Makarska are easily accessible by bus and are must-see destinations for any visitor to Croatia. There is plenty of activities for the more adventurous traveller from hiking, rafting, kayaking, canyoning and climbing. There are places to hire boats for the day and many arranged boat tours to the different islands.

At Hostel Dalmatia visitors have the best that the Dalmatian Coast has to offer right at their finger tips.

Together with my fiancé Steffi and our two dogs Luna & Buddy we live in the beautiful village of Marušići - literally where the mountains kiss the sea. I´m from Texas and Steffi is from Germany. We both love travelling and hosting travellers from all over the world. Croatia became our home and so did the hostel. It is great to share it with people and see them fall in love with it, too.

Our hostel is about a 7 minute walk from the local beaches and a great starting point to discover the Dalmatian coast. We love to share our home/hostel with our guests, give advice and help on things to do around the area, share a meal and good talks.

Our hostel has 3 private rooms with their own en-suite bathroom and balcony - ideal for families, couples, single travellers or friends.
We also have a dorm room with 8 beds, its own bathroom and balcony. You can book a bed at a cheaper rate and still enjoy all the hostel and village have to offer.

There is a lot of outdoor space to enjoy your stay: a big terrace as well as a rooftop terrace - both with stunning views of the sea and mountains.
We have a living room where our guests can chill, play board games/cards, kicker, paint at our painting table or just relax.

Our large shared kitchen is well-equipped and very often we cook dinner together as a "family" :)
