We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 grown up children: 1 working in London and 1 working locally.

We moved into our beautiful Georgian farm cottage in June 2015 and are really enjoying rural village life. Our garden covers 1 acre and is very private. We enjoy entertaining family and friends in summer with barbecues, and during winter in our lovely farmhouse kitchen and cosy living area with log burner.

Westcote Annexe is a self contained, self catering studio, which has just been re-furnished, with its own private entrance and secure key box, giving you the freedom to come and go as you please and is located on the first floor above our large detached double garage at the rear of the property. It has ensuite bathroom with electric shower and a mini kitchen (combination microwave, fridge, sink, kettle and toaster).

Wistow is a quiet, friendly village near to Selby and York. There is a village pub, a 5 minute walk away, which offers good food and there is also a fish and chip shop if you fancy something quick and easy! There is a regular bus service into Selby and York. The nearest train station is Selby.

There are plenty of local shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs, with a historic abbey, in the neighbouring town of Selby which is only a couple of miles away.

The beautiful historic walled city of York is 12 miles away and has many attractions such as York Minster, Clifford's Tower, the National Railway Museum and other museums, shops, over 500 cafes and restaurants, cinemas plus lots more!

We are local to the area and can provide lots of information on local attractions, where to eat and how to get there. If we run out of ideas we provide access to free wi-fi allowing you to search for more information.
