This is a relaxed home, and we decided to adapt the house to host people who may enjoy spending time here.
We have two dogs, Ike and Juanita, who also love having guests. The house itself seems to have been designed to have lots of people in it.
We are looking forward to sharing it with you.

San Isidro is a very old neighbourhood and there are very old families that have lived here for many generations. This is not as it may seem, a weekend destination, but a real residencial place with its very unique cultural ways of living. Even if when you enter the house it may seem you are somewhere far away, we are located at walking distance to San Isidro's commercial center, making it extremely practical to get along by yourself. Everything is there; from various banks, to restaurants and little bars, specialty food stores, you name it. All at walking distance.
But, in our opinion, what is a must know, is the Delta. It is such a unique thing and it is so close by! Perfect for a very romantic indeed outing.

I am first of all, a mother. A regular one, who has mastered the art of enjoying the daily simple ways of living with all the mistakes and mishaps all we mothers make.
Then, I am an art gallerist. This is in my history and my DNA, since my father was an art gallerist too, and so was his grandfather. Now, I am also the mother of a future gallerist, since my daughter Ana, is working with me at the gallery!
I am Argentinian, proud of it, an as such I have lived many lives in many places. In that way I became a Brazilian at heart, after having lived in Brazil for almost 14 years.
I can say also, that I learnt to sing in English, watched Hollywood movies when I was a teenager, and was married to a Texan, so in a sense I learnt to especially enjoy the sounds of English language in poems and love songs.
My grandmother was French, and I learnt it from her. She has been gone for so many years, but I learnt in French, of her independent way of life and strong convictions!
I am a Botanist, but that seems to have been long ago. Yet, I feel having been trained as a biologist has also shaped my philosophy of what MAN is.
So, I am made as a puzzle of all these different cultures and experiences. And while declaring myself a pure Argentinian, it fascinates me to know people form other countries and beliefs and always feel surprised as how much closer we humans are to each other, even when we seem so different.
So, as a summary, I love to have people over and treat them and share with them our deepest us, which is at best at home.

Now, airbnb asks me to list the five things I cannot live without... hmmm...
1. a project. Whatever it may be, but new and not too easy.

And may be the list stops there. I think with all those three I may not need much more

How do I like to travel? May be without planning and not knowing where to go next.
My favorite music is music. But Baroque is essential, and folklore from wherever I am gets in very deep.
I love gardening, I love design, I love beautiful things. I love rain, and wind, and water, and mountains. I love to be alone too.

How am I as a host, I am not sure. I think I would like guests to feel at ease, and feel free to tell me what they like and how to make their experience special. I would like this to be fun.

Depending on your needs, and especially if asked in advance, there are many things we can offer. Boating and sailing outings with a picnic basket, special travels to close by towns or estancias can be arranged with "the best" tourist guide I know (believe me, she has the most incredible credentials! and she speaks perfect English).
Whatever special needs or requests may be, we will be delighted to help you.
But always keep in mind to tell us with some advance to make sure we are available.
