Have a dip in our saltwater pool or take a two minute stroll to the beach and return to your cozy cabana surrounded by a tropical garden. Our space is where honest hospitality, nature and an authentic experience combine.

Our aim: To create a relaxed and homely space in Hikkaduwa for our guests, we have built around the trees and have focused on preserving and adding to the natural environment. Follow the pathway to one of three freestanding cabanas. The 'Del' cabana is named after our favourite tree in the garden, the Del (breadfruit) tree. Please note this cabana is fan only.

Dreamtime has 3 cabanas, 5 budget rooms, 3 balcony rooms and 2 plunge pool rooms.

Relax on your terrace and take in the tropical surroundings. Our garden is home to an abundance of wildlife: keep an eye out for native birds, squirrels, lizards, monkeys and more! Listen to the birdsong and branches swaying in the wind. When the swell is big you can even hear waves crashing in the distance. There are so many plant varieties that we have lost count. Jungle plants are thriving and the bamboo tree is the centrepiece of our grounds.

Enjoy a complimentary Sri Lankan breakfast in our quaint cafe prepared by our neighbour each morning.

The cabana design is open plan with a comfortable spring mattress, ceiling fan and mosquito net. The bathroom is fitted with a hot water shower and more plants of course!

Our cabana is the perfect place to relax and unwind and an ideal base to explore all that beautiful Hikkaduwa has to offer. Enjoy a 15 minute beach walk or 3 minute tuk-tuk ride to the main surf point. Get close to wild turtles, snorkel, dive, swim and explore local Hikkaduwa town.

As we are located slightly inland (just a two minute walk to the beach), guests get a glimpse of village life. There will be welcoming smiles and a few hellos from children on your short stroll to the ocean.
