This Cottage is completely separate to the main house in the garden directly above the rainforest with a private entrance, a spacious, airy bedroom, King sized bed, luxury pillow-top mattress, high thread count bed linens, choice of pillows, seating and desk area, en-suite bath tub and shower room with vanity unit, toilet with bidet, hair dryer, bathrobes (on request), luxurious towels, and toiletries.

The fully equipped and spacious kitchen-diner/lounge area includes: dining table and chairs, a fridge freezer, gas stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, flatware, crockery, pots, pans and cooking utensils. The lounge area has a sofa. The Cottage benefits from ceiling fans and free fibre optic fast wifi throughout. There are stunning far reaching views from all the windows.

We take great care in preparing your space, scrupulously clean, and in accordance with Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol which is developed with the guidance of health and hygiene experts. The Cottage is one of four units at the property: There are 2 other self contained rooms with King size beds, and their own kitchen and bathroom (these are the apartment and the Studio) and one self contained Casita with queen bedroom en-suite. All four can be rented in any combination, accommodating up to 8 guests in total. All 4 have independent entrances. Our exclusive, free high capacity car park leads to a pathway through the upper garden to the house and then to each room.

The road surface within 20 metres of the property is rocky so care is needed in your final approach. Guests driving all car types, including sedans, have had no difficulty coming to and going from the property. The best route to take to the house is from the Ruta 41 highway turning for Jaramillo Abajo and Lucero. The host will provide a set of picture directions which guests find helpful in finding the property.

Vista Volcan provides an excellent base from which to explore Panama's provinces. The road to the house can be accessed by any car type, it is paved until 100m before the house entrance after which it is hard packed gravel and rock. See Getting Around below.

Jaramillo is an exclusive residential area with many luxury homes in the mountains just to the East of Boquete but only 10 minutes by car from all the attractions of Boquete. The nearest supermarkets are only 5 minutes drive away, situated on the main David to Boquete road - the Route 41.

We (Peter and Sarah) are a married couple and own Vista Volcan which is our home.

Both British, we have lived and travelled (and dived!) all over the world (most recently based for 3 years in Dubai) and have decided to make Panama our home. Having had careers in the UK Armed Forces and Police and corporate and commercial world, in 2017 we decided to work together to provide a high standard of accommodation and support to travellers to the exciting, inspiring and interesting Chiriqui region of Panama.
