An authentic adult tree house built into the bows of a growing rooi karee adult tree (rhuslancea). The dwelling is made of a variety of SA wood varieties and shaped around the stem and branches, allowing humans to live functionally within its arms

Indawo
The house sleeps 6 adults comfortably. There is a double bed in the front open plan living area, and another double bed and 2 single beds in the upper room. There is a closing door between the 2 rooms. Here the double bed has a retractable roof ....... to see the stars at night and the passing clouds through the tree in the day:-)
Through the upper bedroom there is a wooden patio out looking onto the mountain and the veld. A fixed table and side benches brings guests outdoors in the tree

Majestic mountains of age old conglomerates, moldings and age old foundations. The Khoi San painted their stories in the kloof caves - they were the original people inhabiting southern Africa!
There are 7 different biomes that gather in this specific kloof, offering guests an unique portfolio of diverse landscapes
It is still wild and raw nature here, allowing humans to participate in nature whilst enjoying a bit of modern comfort ;-)

Mark has green fingers and propagate indigenous flora, as well as anything else that grows well in this ground like pomegranates, capsicums, ground veg, garlic, rocket, sweet basil and spinach, pumpkins and marrows. We have learnt to use the produce of the land seasonally and love to offer our guests fresh, MGO free of whatever is available at the time:-)
I invite guests to go to the bush and make land-art, an interactive creative process allowing one to come close to nature and experience it in a different way
