We offer our guests a small double-storey, self-catering thatched cottage with it's own fenced off beautiful garden separate to our home. There is a off-street parking space for one vehicle only. Coffee, filter coffee, tea, Rooibos, mineral water and milk are provided as well as homemade cookie's. Washing machine and detergent is also provided free of charge. Close walking distance to the beach, exactly one street from the sea.
It is ideal for a family or close friends.

There are stairs by the parking area and also inside the cottage which would make it unsuitable for wheelchair dependent persons. Small children should be attended to at all times because of the stairs and also because of the pond at the back of the cottage. We do provide kiddie gates for the stairs. Please request if needed.
The cottage consists of an upstairs bedroom, open-plan, with a double bed and a small reading lounge. Downstairs consists of a lounge with two single beds, couch, drawers, and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with toilet and shower.
There is a free-standing fan in the upstairs bedroom and a ceiling fan in the lounge/kitchen area for those hot summers. Also a portable oil heater and wall mounted panel heaters for the winter.
There is a dining table outside on stoep/veranda. There are also 4 bar stools around the kitchen counter inside.
All bedding/linen are provided including blankets.

The cottage is nestled in a beautiful peaceful garden setting. A place to relax and rest up. The sound of the ocean is near and the beach is a stone throw away. Beautiful sunsets are right on your doorstep to enjoy with a glass of wine on the upstairs veranda.

Been a resident of Lamberts Bay since 1989. Enjoy sharing local knowledge of the area with my guests. Love hiking, beach walking, camping and swimming in the ocean! Artistic and creative. Friendly and helpful. Colourful and chilled. I live with my husband and my daughter in our beautiful rustic thatched home that we have built together. Over the year's, our garden, which has attracted many of the local bird species such as Spotted Prinia's, Crombec's, Fiscal Shrike's, Rock Kestrels, Karoo Thrushes, Yellow-Billed kites, just to name a few. We have created a pure peaceful haven to relax and unwind on the West Coast. Going to sleep with the sound of the ocean is just magical. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Love Lambert's Bay!!
