This cozy and lightful cottage is totally renewed, located in the center of a small portuguese village, near Leiria, Batalha, Porto de Mós and Alcobaça. It is a great place to find inner peace and rest your mind or to pratice outdoor sports. At the same time this amazing place is located near the most famous beaches, as Nazaré, Paredes da Vitória and São Pedro de Moel, taking you only around 20 minutes by car.

My name is Dário Mourato and I have a degree in Sports and Physical Education with a specialization in high performance training for Basketball. My passion for sport has fortunately allowed me to work in several countries, Portugal, Luxembourg, Norway and more recently Brazil. In 2015, I acquired my grandmother's house. The house was very old and had no living conditions. At the time, my project was to carry out a thorough restoration on the property to use it as my own home. From an old and outdated space it was possible to create a modern, attractive, functional and very comfortable space. However, it was possible to preserve much of the features of its original architecture, which does not let the good moments lived in "Casa da Avó Vitória" be erased from the memory of my entire family. When in 2017, for professional reasons, I decided to emigrate, the opportunity arose to put my space on Airbnb and start hosting, the experience has been great and I will continue to improve my "work" as a host so that I can continue doing difference in the lives of my guests. A casa era muito antiga e já não tinha condições de habitabilidade. Na altura o meu projecto foi o de realizar uma restauração profunda na propriedade para servir-me da mesma como habitação própria. De um espaço velho e ultrapassado foi possível criar um espaço moderno, atractivo, funcional e com muito conforto. No entanto, foi possível preservar muito dos traços da sua arquitectura original, o que não deixa que se apague da memória de toda a minha família os bons momentos vividos na "Casa da Avó Vitória. Quando em 2017, por razões profissionais, decidi emigrar, surgiu a oportunidade de colocar o meu espaço no Airbnb e começar a hospedar, a experiência tem sido ótima e irei continuar a melhor o meu "trabalho" como anfitrião para que possa continuar a fazer a diferença na vida dos meus hóspedes.
