Perfect spot for a getaway! For artists and writers, or those who just need to relax. Off the beaten track, so transportation is by car only, with easy access to state roads leading to the cities of Bologna and Florence. Lots of little quaint towns to discover, and only a few hours from either coast.

Quiet, relaxing country ambience. Nice walking paths, and easy trek to the small burgs nearby.
A stream runs below the property, and there is a sulfuric water fountain in the chestnut grove above the stream. Neighbor owns horses which graze in front of the house. Truly a "Room with a View" sort of atmosphere...

From the US, but have lived in Italy since 1985. Love my adopted country, and living the surf and turf lifestyle. Spend part of the time in the lovely Tuscan hills with my husband Francesco and our cats, and part of the time on my beautiful sailboat in Gaeta further south between Rome and Naples.
Enjoy showing people "my" Italy off the more publicized tourist track and enjoy entertaining. Love to cook, and have fun sharing some of the Italian tricks in the kitchen to those interested.
Try to live the Italian way and go with the flow…and my motto is "Never say Never…"
