The cottage comprises of three bedrooms, one is ensuite, separate bathroom and toilet, kitchen, living room / dining area with safe enclosed garden space and private access to beautiful, sandy Cloughmore Beach.

Situated within 5 minutes’ walk of this beautiful secluded cottage on the beach lies one of the Wild Atlantic Way’s most prized gems, Achill’s Atlantic Drive. The rugged, magnificent views combined with the fresh Atlantic breeze will certainly take your breath away.

The castle of renowned 15th Pirate Queen, Gráinne Mhaol’s (Grace O Malley) is only a few minutes stroll away. The house overlooks Achill’s busiest harbour Cé Mhór where fresh fish can be purchased daily, a short distance away is Cé Bhéag, where tours to Clare Island depart at 9.30am on Wednesday mornings. If you are feeling a little energetic, Sli Gráinne Mháol is within walking distance. Proper footwear recommended. Drop into Patten’s pub for refreshments after your walk.
Very few places can provide such easy access to some of Achill’s famous landmarks.

It is steeped in history we have two quaint harbours , Grainne Mhaol castle , RNLI station Cloughmore beach and the oldest graveyard in Achill. Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way ,just for starters .

I am a through and through Achill man with a great love of the place. I grew up in Achill and had a very happy, busy, hard working (Website hidden by Airbnb) Achill is one of the most beautiful places on earth to live it has one massive drawbacks... (Website hidden by Airbnb) a young age children have to leave to further their education or emigrate all over the world for employment, I was no different although I stayed in Ireland as a civil servant.
I still return to Achill on a regular basis and after all these years still refer to Achill as "home".
Achill Atlantic House allows me to share my home with people who want to experience the beauty of my island Achill, in the sunshine, violent storms or wet weather as each day, condition releases it's own beauty unique to Achill.
