The bedroom is in the apartment which we also occupy year round. You will find a 140 by 200 bed, a wardrobe and various storage spaces at your disposal, a small fridge-bar. The accommodation is much closer to Montreux than it appears on the map. 8 'by bus (204) from the center or the station, 6-8' walk from the lake, 10 'walk from the Congress Center (2M2C).
We also sometimes rent a second room in the same accommodation, and the bathroom will be shared with us and other travelers.
Our B&B is officially declared to the Municipality of Montreux and the price of the tourist tax (6 .- / day / person) is included in the price of the room, which allows us to offer you the Montreux Riviera Card, with in particular free public transport in the region; all the activities and visits offered in partnership with the Montreux Riviera Card are at 50% (all museums, admission to Château de Chillon, climb to Rochers de Naye) or at 20% (Maison Cailler, Glaciers 3000, Mosimann collection at Bouveret). Few Airbnb hosts in the region offer this card, which is a real financial benefit for tourists.

The area is quiet, with lots of greenery; at the same time, we are very close to the lake and the city of Montreux. A 1-2' walk away you will find a kiosk which is also a small "convenience store" (can order bread and pastries), a very nice little neighborhood restaurant (the café du Torrent). The small village of Tavel is charming, with its narrow streets and fountains; it is located at the foot of the elegant Château du Châtelard.
