Apho uza kuba khona

New Orleans, Louisiana, United States

The Treme is a wonderful and unique neighborhood unlike any other in the United States. Second Lines, street parties, brass bands, and jazz funerals are common place. Lots of character and characters in the neighborhood, but generally quiet late night and early morning. There is always something going on and the people in the neighborhood are friendly and talkative. You can learn just as much about New Orleans from the folks on the street as you could with a tour guide charging you an arm and a leg to walk around the Quarter.

We are an easy going couple who have been together 15 years. I'm originally from the sugarcane fields of South Louisiana (Cajun Country) and Brad is a transplant to New Orleans (originally from Washington, D.C. area). We live downtown with our 3 rescue dogs whom we spoil excessively. We manage a few properties here in New Orleans and love being able to share our city with guests.

Ngexesha lokuhlala kwakho

The owners of the property (myself and my partner Brad) reside full time on the premises. We love New Orleans and love being able to share it with others. I make a point of greeting all guests at check-in so that if there are any questions I can provide in-person answers. Always up for conversation and hang out time, but also respect when people are a little more private and like to be left alone.
