We are located in the Donmakkai forest reserve area 17km outside of Vientiane. It is within easy access of bus services to and from Vientiane and close to local amenities. Set in 1 hectare of land, the property has an organic garden and on site restaurant. There are communual lounge sala facilities as well as a BBQ and firepit. Free WiFi is available and free mountain bike use. There is a range of private accommodation available to suit guests budgets and needs. There is plenty to see in the local area and all within cycling distance.

This area located around the nam ngum river and in the distance you can see clearly buffalo mountain. The area is made up of rural farming and weaving villages and Buddhism as a central part of the community. Lao hospitality is second to none and lao people will happily invite strangers into thier homes to share food or drink, even though they can't speak English.

Married for twelve years to a Laotian and with 2 children, we build an Eco Resort from scratch. The idea was to pass on something to our children. We are full on with planting new things and our drive is that in 10-20 years time our children will bear the fruits of our labour and see the fully grown trees at the same time drawing on memories of when we planted them. At the same time they get a firm grasp of the natural way of living and we always promote this to our children whenever we can. Without knowing what we were getting ourselves in for, we jumped in head first into this project.Now 2 years on we are still learning the hospitality business . We are a cross between a resort,a hotel,a hostel and a homestay. Every guest that arrives on our resort is treated special like a person entering our home and treated with hospitality and respect.
