Designed and hand built by our family, our chalet-style cabin gazes peacefully upon Fisher Lake, nestled in the heart of rural Nova Scotia.

We aim to create a space where one can recharge the soul and embrace life's simple pleasures while discovering an area of Nova Scotia few take time to explore.

An open concept design with knotty pine ceilings, Luna Rosa captures an extended feeling of home, simplicity & nostalgia.

Surrender the senses to kaleidoscope sunsets, a crackling bonfire's dance and savouring meals alfresco. Float in the lake's fresh water, suspend yourself in the hammock and breath in the fresh smell of the morning forest, with a warm cup of coffee in hand.

With only a handful of cottages scattered upon the lake, soak in all the charms of lakeside living in a relaxed atmosphere. We have seasonal neighbours to the right yet our properties are separated by the tree line, providing everyone space & privacy.

The Chalet is equipped with the luxuries of electricity, a kitchen, bathroom and running hot & cold water. (See important info on water conservation before booking!)

In exchange for leaving behind steady cell service, cafes and street lights, welcome the experience of starry skies, fireflies, fresh air and the wide open spaces this 'waiting-to-be-explored' region offers.

Stunning Taylor Head Provincial Park is 25 minutes (+/-) from Luna Rosa; a true gem not to be missed. It makes a sublime day trip!

Whether snuggled up by the wood stove, swaying to music from the record player, washing dishes or drifting off to sleep in the royal King bed, the shimmering waters remind you of its presence.

Our Chalet gazes upon peaceful Fisher Lake in the heart of rural Nova Scotia. The lake atmosphere is very relaxed; there are a handful of established cottages scattered around this lake and our property is well situated for privacy.

We do have seasonal neighbours to the right, yet properties are separated by the tree line, giving everyone their space & privacy.

We recommend bringing the major essentials you will need for your stay...

In Upper Musquodoboit, (12 minutes away), there is a wonderful small grocer + NSLC, open 7 days a week.

Within 20 minutes you can access the amenities of quaint Sheet Harbour, (groceries, NSLC, gas stations, pharmacy, bank).

In exchange for leaving behind shops, cafes and street lights, you will experience starry skies, sunsets, fresh air and the wide open spaces in our region of the province. Leave what you know behind and experience rural living at its best!

Gorgeous "Taylor Head Provincial Park" and the wilderness of the Wild Islands are a short 25 minute drive from the Chalet. We highly recommend planning a day to visit to this hidden gem while in our area!

With multiple waterfalls nearby, their proximity to one another makes a fun-filled excursion. You can easily discovering cascades few of your friends will ever have heard of.

As a bonus, you are only 1hr from the PEI ferry departing from Pictou, the world's highest tides in the Bay of Fundy and the Halifax International Airport, (YHZ).
