The Victorian building, at 6A Bridge Street, accommodates this newly renovated, 1st floor, self-contained flat which has been sympathetically refurbished to a high standard. The flat is accessed via a stair case to the 1st floor. It offers bright & airy accommodation for up to 3 people comprising of a living/sleeping space with wifi, tv, self contained kitchen, shower room & separate toilet. Its town centre location makes it convenient to the beach, harbour, prom, restaurants, pubs & transport.

The Victorian building accommodates this newly renovated, first floor, self-contained flat which has been totally refurbished specifically for the self catering holiday/rental market. The renovation works have been completed to an excellent standard whilst maintaining some of the old features you would expect in a character building. This property is located above our family retail business and is one of 4 flats in the building. The flat is accessed from Bridge Street via a stair case to the first floor. The front elevation looks down onto Bridge Street which is the main southerly thoroughfare into Aberystwyth and has a mix of residential and commercial premises you would expect in a busy market town. The rear elevation, from the kitchen, looks over neighboring rooftops.
The property offers a nicely sized self-contained kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and free standing cooker with the usual base and wall units, kitchen sink and storage heater. Ironing board, iron, crockery, glasses, utensils and cutlery are provided for 3 occupants. The breakfast bar offers eating space for 2/3 people and two contemporary bar stools fit nicely under the worktop whilst a fold up bar stool is also available. The kitchen offers a fire blanket, fire extinguisher and the window has a day light roller blind. The shower room is compact with free standing wash hand basin, double shower tray with glass shower panel, shower unit and mirror. The toilet occupies a separate space so allowing guests to use the shower room when the wc is engaged. The living/sleeping space offers a well sized, airy and bright room as it has 2 beautiful double glazed sash windows which are fitted with thermal/blackout blinds. The room is fully carpeted and offers a double bed, double sofa bed, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, nest of tables a range of soft lighting, hairdryer, throw and cushions as well as a wall mounted remote controlled tv which can be manoeuvred for sofa or bed watching. The room has retained the old Victorian fire place which has been tastefully adapted to offer a contemporary electric fire which is operated by remote control. A traditional mantle mirror sits above the fireplace and the original dado rail and ceiling cornice have been retained. The room has a large storage heater in addition to the electric fire and a small wall hanging rail offers compact space for garments on hangers and there is ample hanging space for coats behind the front door which has a spy hole for your personal security.
The accommodation has been lovingly restored and refurbished and we have taken the opportunity to promote our business within the space as the art work on show is available to purchase. A central fire alarm system is installed in the building to safeguard all our guests and fire extinguishers are available in all kitchens and on floor landings.
The flat is in a great location – all banks and shops are in the town centre which is approximately a minute’s walk from the front door. A 2 minute walk and you are in the castle grounds, a 5 minute walk will take you to South Beach, the harbour, promenade, North Beach, railway and bus station, main taxi rank, Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway and retail shopping centre. Access to the funicular Cliff Railway, camera obscura and Constitution Hill is approximately 10/15 minutes away … university campus, art centre, hospital, National Library of Wales are all within a 15/20 minute walk…. you get the picture!! Street parking is available but check sign posts for any restrictions and be warned the traffic wardens are keen. Aberystwyth has the greatest number of public houses for a town of its size in Wales, it has 2 established night clubs and cocktail bars so you can expect street noise. Aberystwyth boasts some wonderful restaurants and eateries. Needless to say the countryside is breath taking and the sunsets even better as you watch the sun go down over Cardigan Bay.

Hi I'm Mandy....mam of two wonderful children who have now flown the nest, married to Anthony who has renovated the accommodation you are looking at; he's a genius! We are Welsh speakers so if you'd like to communicate in our mother tongue then please do so (unfortunately no option to list this in the language menu).
