Private garden suite with its own entrance, double bedroom, ensuite, sitting and dining room with sofa bed and some cooking facilities. Guests have access to a gorgeous sunny garden with terraces and flower borders. Excellent location in the heart of the beautiful Kingdom of Fife. 2 mins walk to High street, 5 mins walk to the sea, 36 min direct train to Edinburgh, 45 mins to St Andrews golf courses, easy access to Outlander locations of Falkland and Dysart and the V & A at Dundee.

The garden bedroom and the sitting and dining have glass doors that open out onto a terrace and lovely garden. We have a small kitchenette not a full kitchen so limited cooking facilities . These include an oven, microwave and grill, toaster and kettle. This is a stylish space, the white walls and wooden floor boards giving a light and airy Scandi-Scottish feel. The suite is suitable for up to 4 guests.

The en-suite has a bath and power shower and we provide towels and bath /shower gels. Guests can use the sunny sheltered garden and are welcome to help themselves to fruit including apples, rhubarb and strawberries, There is also a small barbecue which can be used at the end of the garden for sunny alfresco dining.

There is free on -street parking during the evening but the street tends to get busy as we are so close to the beach and High street . There are further free parking spaces a 3 min walk from the house if our street parking is full or you need to park during the day . There are also paid parking spaces close by

We take the cleanliness of the rooms and the health of our guests very seriously. The rooms are cleaned in accordance with Air BNB's Covid and Scottish Government guidance and the suite comes with disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, multi-surface cleaner and disposable paper towels.

Its a lovely safe and friendly neighbourhood made up of gorgeous Victorian villas and pretty gardens. Its a 5 mins walk to the sea, beach and high street with lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. Also close by are beautiful parks and Fifes coastal path. Great for walks in stunning scenery.

A little about me , I love food and cooking and growing food and flowers so I have a lovely garden to sit and read in or have a glass of wine and chill. I work as an environmentalist and help to reduce carbon emissions and waste for the region of Fife. Sustainability is important for me as is painting and art . I moved just over 4 yrs ago to Fife from Edinburgh and spent 18 months renovating my old Victorian house. Now the build is finished I've been inspired by the beautiful Scottish countryside around me and now have time to return to painting. Some of my works hang in the suite and are available for sale. If art is something you love Fife has amazing artists. I can recommend lots of galleries and artist trails and sites to visit. I'm a keen cyclist so if you fancy cycling in the beautiful Scottish countryside, along the Coastal path or the new Pilgrims way I can give you directions and information. I've traveled a lot so understand the importance of being made welcome when away from home . You'll be sure of a warm welcome when visiting Kirkcaldy.
