Sanyang village is located in South of the Gambia. In the village you have a small vegetable and fruit market, small shops with basic stuff from food to clothes, money exchange office and a garage for public transport. Getting to our Paradise beach home take the Sanyang fishing village road which leads you through residential areas, farmland, scrubland, wooded areas, a mangrove fringed lagoon and onto the fish centre on a bustling fish market where you can see small cold stores, women busy gutting and cleaning catches, crabs and seagulls picking at scraps, fishermen mending their nets, and dozens of colourful local and Senegalese pirogues. Our lodge is located 500 m south of the fish market on kilometers long deserted beach.
