Be nurtured by nature, while staying in the beautiful Okuti Valley, just 2 km from Little River. Here you can walk the local tracks or simply sit on the sunny deck and enjoy the bird song and view of the hills. Nearby there are cycle tracks and beautiful beaches suitable for swimming and surfing.

Indawo
Kereru Cabin is newly built and well insulated. It has a queen bed, and a mezzanine floor with 2 floor mattresses, therefore offering a very affordable family stay. Please note, however, there is a steep ladder to the loft, so this would not be suitable for young children.
The windows are double glazed and two have insect screens.

During the cooler months, between April and October, a second cabin (Kowhai) is available for you to use as as a living area. For the rest of the year this cabin can be used as second bedroom for your family or friends upon request.

Being eco conscious we use a 3 bin system for recycling, compost and rubbish. The toilet is designed on composting principles and the shower uses pure rain water.

Basic cooking facilities are provided with a hotplate, microwave, electric barbecue and a fridge in a semi open kitchen and living area.

A camper van can be accommodated, with an outdoor power point available. Tent sites, by the stream, are also offered.

We live just 2 km from the well known Little River Cafe and the gallery, which sells artworks of nationally recognised artists. Little River is half way between Christchurch and Akaroa. We are close to the end of the bike trail from Motukakara to Little River . Nearby is the Phytofarm, which offers courses in herbal medicine. In just 45 minutes from here, you can drive to Akaroa where you can enjoy excellent local cuisine, swim with dolphins or kayak in the beautiful harbour.
