Located on the beautiful and unique Tropical Coast of Granada, with average temperatures ranging between 18ºC in winter and 30ºC in summer. The town is easily accessible from Granada and Malaga international airports.
Almuñécar & La Herradura are an ideal place to forget about stress and daily routine for a few days.
Almuñécar & La Herradura have 19 km of coastline. The beaches alternate with small caves framed by cliffs, ideal for lovers of diving, underwater photography or snorkeling. The warm and transparent waters of the Mediterranean Sea are the perfect place to practice numerous water activities such as kitesurfing, stand-up paddle, windsurfing, sailing, jetski, etc.
If you are a lover of nature and wildlife, you are lucky because while you practice hiking, biking or horseback riding, you can observe a native and acclimatized vegetation composed, for example, of oleanders, reeds, palm trees, olive trees, almond trees, fig trees and of course a great variety of subtropical trees such as mangoes, avocados, guavas, chirimoyas….

Almuñecar & La Herradura are places of Mediterranean character and traditions with a lot of cultural events like concerts, festivals, lectures, theatre spectacles, the celebration of the “Semana Santa” (Holy Easter week) with several processions, “Cruces de Mayo”, 15th of August the “Virgin of La Antigua de Almuñécar” (The skies will be lit up by an incredible firework in the night, a tourist attraction attended by a large number of boats and many spectators on the beach).
The Botanical Gardens "El Majuelo" situated below the castle, provides the visitor with a shady garden to relax and enjoy more than 180 species of palm trees and tropical plants and still remains the rests of an old Roman salted fish factory. The park is also used as an open air auditorium for concerts and the Almuñécar Jazz Festival is held here each summer, attracting internationally renowned artists.

Once you have arrived, we wish you welcome, hand over the keys and we explain all that is necessary to start your holidays. We also provide you with a file containing very useful information about the accommodation and its surroundings (bars, beaches, shopping etc.).
We are always at your service to attend to any incident, doubt or suggestion. Please report any broken items within 48 hours. If you do not, we will assume there is nothing broken so later claims will not be considered.
