Ocala is one of the most beautiful parts of Florida. Its rolling green hills, horse farms, oak trees and enchanted Spanish moss give it a truly magical feel.

Known as “Brick City” due to its beautiful downtown architecture, Ocala is also considered the “Horse Capital of the World,” making it a prime locale for equine fans. Not to mention, it’s close to major cities like Tampa and Orlando. Nature enthusiasts also love to frequent the Ocala Springs and Ocala National Forest.

The apartment is on property of the historic Kemp brick estate built in 1938. The house has been owned both residentially and commercially in the past. Most recently, it was know as the Blue Heron Art Gallery.

The apartment is about 700 square feet contains its own entrance, bathroom, bedroom, living room/kitchen, and private deck.

We added a new bed frame a few months ago and a foam mattress topper. The mattress is on a platform bed frame. We also added a pull out sofa bed, so the apartment can accommodate more guests.

We offer great discounts for weekly and monthly stays.

The apartment is fully stocked with pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee and tea.

There is one reserved parking space provided. If another space is needed, please message me to make arrangements.

The apartment is a 10 minute walk through the historic district to the downtown square where you can enjoy dining, shopping, and live music.

Art walk is the first Friday of each month from 6pm-9pm in the square.

The downtown farmers market is held each Saturday from 9am-2pm

We are located 9 miles from the new World Equestrian Center and 5 miles from Silver Springs State Park.

Hello, a few years ago I purchased the historic Kemp house in downtown Ocala. The house was most recently The Blue Heron Art Gallery. Over the years it’s been home to several different businesses and was a boarding house in the 1950s and 1960s. After months of renovation, I opened it up for guests to enjoy the suites.

Last year, I purchased the Nash house which was built in 1891. After renovations I opened it up to guests in July. The home was named for Pastor Charles Nash who was the pastor of the First Baptist Church. The home is on the same street as the oldest synagogue in Florida. It’s been a joy to add the space to my existing properties.

The most recent addition is the Martin house. This home opened February of this year for guests. The home was built in 1918, by one of the founding families in Ocala. The home features original stained glass, fireplaces and claw foot tub.

I have been in the rental industry for years, and always look to have happy guests. Thank you for considering these properties, I hope you select one for a getaway.
