Casa Tima is a spacious family villa with a large private swimming pool and wide patio boasting incredible views of the Mediterranean and nearby mountainous landscape. Built in the mid-1990s with Andalusian features, it is uniquely annexed to a private orchard from which guests can pick and enjoy the seasonal fruit.

Designed by a local architect, Casa Tima features a spacious indoors living area (with sofas, dining room table, work desk), opening onto the covered terrace; a kitchen with utility room and private inner patio; two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (one with bath, the other with shower). One of the bedroom has a direct access to the terrace.
Air conditioning in the main living space and in the master bedroom.

The covered terrace makes a perfect spot for alfresco dining and barbecues whilst enjoying views of the sea the gardens and pool.

Tastefully decorated and furnished, it also boasts some colourful Moorish mosaics mixed with white walls and marble floors. It also has a small decorative courtyard and feature fireplace. Casa Tima has belonged to one family for over 25 years, who have taken great extra care to maintain its aesthetics and functionality.

Uniquely, the villa has an adjoining orchard that has been planted with olive and many different types of fruit trees. Guests are more than welcome to pick the seasonal fruits that it bears. The orchard is well looked after by a local gardener throughout the year.

I have discovered great places and had some of my best experiences travelling as a guest through Airbnb, and so my motto when co-hosting Guests here in Spain, is simply treat your guests as you would treat your friends, and as how I’d like to be welcomed when arriving somewhere new! It starts with getting the basics right. Travelling begins before you get on the plane, and so I always like to get to know my future guests from the time they book so that I can provide a more custom made service, prepare everything needed for their comfort, assist with their planning and offer my insider knowledge according to their personal interests. I feel very lucky to be living in such a wonderful place as Andalusia. I moved here in 2016, and since then have been exploring the region to gradually build my own “travel guide”. The Costa del Sol is well known for its year around sun and beach life, but it doesn’t stop there! As a nature lover for me the best part is adventuring inland, the national parks flanking the coast offer a multitude of outdoor and nature activities, from walking, climbing, bird watching to river swimming and kayaking. I love living in this part of Spain because, for those like me who like to find places of solace, and ways of exploring our natural environment, the opportunities to discover, play and contemplate are endless! I am a qualified Yoga for Health teacher, movement artist and photographer, and so I am always happy to meet and share my passion with other like-minded people! Saying this I completely understand that sometimes all you want is to chill on a beach and read a good book, and so I have made it my own personal (tough) job to recce the sandy stretches from Marbella to the Costa de la Luz to select the best beaches; I love swimming, will have a go at surfing; I am a foodie, and rarely refuse a nice glass of wine. So whether you are after family friendly beaches, water based activities, wilder sandy spots, a good meal or cocktail lounging by a beach chiringuito just ask me! I can definitely say that I belong to that group of people who will have researched everything that is to be seen and experienced before I travel - landmarks, museums, culinary treasures you name it - I am also a bit of history buff, but find that most of the time I leave all knowledge behind and prefer going with the flow of what I encounter on my travels. As a host I always try to provide as much information on what there is to see - local events, cultural outings, places to eat, etc. - but completely understand that people may want to make their own discoveries; I am always very happy to provide recommendations to guests who need it, or simply leave you to find your own happy!
