Alpengate will prove to be the ideal home for a relaxing holiday thanks to the enchanting and baricentric location, in the heart of the art city of Varallo, but a stone's throw from the natural and ski area of Monterosa ski, counted among the most important in Italy, and an hour's drive from Lake D'Orta and Lake Maggiore. Alpengate is an ideal destination for art, sports and nature enthusiasts, travelers looking for rustic mountain luxury, sportsmen who want to enjoy mountain bike, freeride, ski, trekking, kayaking, rafting and fishing on the Sesia River, free climbing, Parasailing or simply sunbathing on the municipal beach at 100 meters. from home or immerse yourself in the crystal clear waters of the Mastallone, without giving up living in a lively town that offers musical, cultural and artisanal events throughout the year.
The apartment retains the original 17th-century oak beams, is spacious and features a stone balcony overlooking the west on the quiet inner courtyard, sunset, panoramic views of the mountains, the Mastallone River, the church of St. James and Palazzo D'Adda.
It has been renovated according to the principles of bioarchitecture, with the use of natural materials integrated by the most modern technological systems.

Alpengate has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are completely closed by wooden doors and one bounded by curtains, as well as a full shower room with a hot tub accessible from the disengagement, and an en suite bathroom, connected to the second room.
The first room, accessible from the disengagement via wooden door, is a large double room overlooking a quiet and typical Valsesian inner courtyard. The room has a comfortable two-square bed with mattress and pillows in memory foam. A daily wardrobe and a Valsesian desk complete the room, along with the ideal chaise longue for your relaxation, mirrors and ancient Berber decorative pieces.
The second room, accessible from the disengagement via wooden door, is a double room, overlooking the inner courtyard and panoramic views, and features two comfortable single twin beds and en suite bathroom with hot tub shower.
The third room, accessible from the living room and divided by this by curtains, is a master bedroom overlooking a quiet side street, and features a double bed, an antique Valsesian closet and mirror.
The basement is home to the garage, which is not connected to the elevator.

Alpengate is located in a historic building within the ZTL area of Varallo and has a dedicated garage where you can pick up your car, after the license plate is notified in order to have access to the area with limited traffic. The 17th-century palace "House of Arches" is equipped with a man-made elevator, with which you can easily reach the first floor, where the accommodation is located, on the right.
The garage is accessed through the arches gallery that descends towards the basement, is not connected with the elevator. When you arrive, you will be handed the keys to the accommodation, garage and electric gate.
