I lived for almost 38 years in the remote Island of Sanday, in the Orkney Islands in the far north of Scotland, before moving into the capital, Kirkwall in November 2019.
I work at the Balfour Hospital as a domestic, cleaning the operating theatres.
Apart from that, I am a successful long distance runner, a father to Tanya and Bella and a grandfather to four.
