The Studio is a self contained space attached to our home. It has an open plan area with a kitchen, dining , sitting and sleeping space as well as a separate shower room. Access is through a private entrance at the front of the house.
Purley on Thames is a pretty village in West Berkshire with good access to Reading, Pangbourne and Oxford by car. The Studio is a 10 min walk away from Mapledurham Lock on the Thames path and there are also some lovely walks through nearby Sulham woods.

Purley on Thames is situated next to the River Thames and Mappledurham Lock in between Reading and Pangbourne. There are plenty of lovely walks through nearby Sulham Woods and along the Thames Path towards Pangbourne/ Goring or Reading.

Hi, I’m Kate.
I love living in Purley and being able to wander along the Thames and through the nearby Chiltern Hills.
In between work and family life I love to paint and create prints. I have a soft spot for Cornwall and much of the art work you will find in the studio is inspired by my holidays there. So, if Cornwall is too far for the weekend then you can get a dose of St Ives at the studio instead and if you are desperate for a paddle in the sea then you could always try out theThames!
