This airbnb is a completely renovated two-bedroom bungalow. It's a perfect space for a remote summer beach vacation, winter getaway, research sabbatical, or home base as lobster or fishing crew quarters. Local wharfs, miles of white sand beaches, and local artisans and museums are right next door providing hours of intrigue and exploration.
Home care professionals are available to assist Clark's Harbour House guests at cost. Private equestrian beach and trail experiences are also available.

This is one of the quietest, friendliest neighbourhoods you will ever experience. Traffic is very light, with local men and women offering a friendly greeting as they stroll, jog, bike, or drive. Neighbours are very respectful of privacy but are quick to offer support or assistance when needed. As you get to know your neighbours, you'll come to completely understand what 'down home' and 'kitchen party' really means.

Alumni of the University of Western Ontario and Carleton University. PhD in Psychology, with 27 years of applied experience in industrial/organizational psychology developing personnel selection systems for US and Canadian organizations. Parent, foster parent, youth soccer coach, and all-round good guy. I've had the pleasure of traveling extensively throughout North America and EU countries. I operate two vacation home in the Barrington area with my sister Donna Knowles, and our true friend, Darla Goreham.

My sister Donna resides in the Annapolis Valley. She is the mother of three fantastic daughters and the grandmother of 11 wonderful grandchildren. Donna is a devoted Mennonite who exhibits all of the fruit of the Spirit. Meeting Donna means an instant friend.

Darla Goreham is the heart and soul of Breakwater Lodge and Clark's Harbour House. She is a true maven, with a wealth of social contacts throughout the Maritimes. Darla alway exhibits enormous drive and determination to support our guests. As the property manager, Darla is available throughout your stay to make your experience as rich and fulfilling as possible.

We love Breakwater Lodge in Woods Harbour and Clark's Harbour House in Clark's Harbour and the rich environment of the South Shore of Nova Scotia. Darla, Donna, and I are more than happy to host you as our guest in these two great vacation homes. We hope that you too will come to have the same affinity for these beautiful accommodations located in this intriguing part of our world.
