Gitanjali Farm is ideal for couples, nature lovers and discerning travellers who are seeking quiet time away from the bustle of the city. We provide 4 double-room cottages, set amidst large gardens of fruit trees and visiting birds. You’ll love our space for its comfortable rooms, excellent food, the tucked-away location, and the warm staff.
Our farm is easily accessible to the city center and most of the tourist spots. Breakfast and special Coorg-style Dinners available on request.

Our farm and homestay is pro-environment. Most of our ingredients (especially coffee, pepper, spices) come from our estate in Coorg and our organic gardens. Meals are as healthy and organic where possible: with slow-cooked, traditional Kodava/Coorg food from our on-site chef with 15 years of experience. We have two dogs, a cat and neighbouring chickens. Over 80 recorded species of birds visit us, including the odd peacocks (if you're lucky!)
We insist that all guests should have had at least one vaccination or else an RTPCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival at our property.These details along with guest ID proof should be sent to us prior to check in. Failure to do so will result in not allowing checkin to our property.We strictly follow all Covid guidelines as per WHO.
As this is our residence, we discourage loud music and partying which would disrupt our serene ambience.
Our garden has been completely organic for several years which has increased the bird and insect population.We have installed a sophisticated Rain water harvesting system throughout the property which caters to our needs.Our bath water is solar heated and we advocate responsible tourism at our property.Minimal usage of plastics, segregation of waste of source, and composting of manure are also implemented in our Homestay.

The farm is set at the foothills of Chamundi hill : it is a 10-acre property, quiet and tranquil. Gitanjali Homestay is enclosed within the main farm area and surrounded by coconut trees, few private summer homes/farm houses and fields for walking.

As hosts, we are passionate about hosting and meeting people from all over the world, and our farm is a great place to experience a taste of unspoilt Southern India. The only noise you will hear is bird calls and crickets. Kodava culture and cuisine is the focus of a stay at our serene farm, and exploring the city of Mysore from here is a good option.
We provide four double-room cottages, set amidst large gardens of fruit trees and visiting birds.
Your hosts will be myself,my husband Farokh and our Manager Arun.
I love reading,music,yoga,walking,swimming,travel,cats and good conversation!
Farokh has spent 40plus years in the merchant navy and has many a story to tell! He currently spends most of his time running the family coffee plantation in Coorg. He is an avid super biker and dog lover. Arun is passionate about organic farming and sustainable living and is very popular with our guests due to his caring nature.
