Amidst a heritage protected manor park with beautiful old trees, small glades and a lively bird population you'll find two luxurious bell tents with lovely views. Made of heavy canvas they give a nice natural feeling, great lighting atmosphere and leave you with a 3.5m high tented roof and 30sqm lots of space. Take a break from everyday life to spend time musing, thinking, reading in the parc or go out to explore the amazing lakes and cultural heritage of the "Mecklenburg Lake Plateau".

A queen-size box-spring bed, handwoven seagrass flooring, antique bed-linen, cosy reading place, work desk, big coffer for your clothes - in short a suite wrapped in canvas (100% waterproof) - inspired by the Victorian era. The time when the first bell tent was invented and our manor house has been built. In front of the "lake-suite" is a private terrace with outdoor furniture including deck-chairs, fire-bowl and hammock. Next to the garden pavilion on the other side of the small lake you find an outdoor kitchen with bbq and inside the pavilion a fridge for common use, a selection of local products and natural wine, beer and soft drinks you can buy. As well wifi and a table. This area as well the biological composting toilet and outdoor shower with hot water you'll share with the guests of the other tent. There's also the possibility to book organic breakfast (with vegan and gluten free options). Your hosts, my partner Albrecht and myself are renovating and living in the old manor house at the other edge of the park and will welcome you here.

Our glamping park is located in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District on the edge of Mecklenburg Switzerland between Lake Kummerow and Lake Malchin, not far from the Ostpeene nature reserve and the Ivenacker Eichen natural monument. There are wonderful water sports, cycling and hiking opportunities. A very idyllic bathing lake can be reached on foot or by bike. There is also the possibility to bring your own horses and to explore the beautiful nature on horseback.

The nearest supermarket is 5km away and organic shop/farm shop 12km away. Individual food boxes can also be booked with us. Parking is available on the property. A pick-up service from Stavenhagen/Malchin or Waren train stations can also be booked.

Scharpzow/Malchin is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District and Mecklenburg Switzerland with many water-sport, cycling and hiking opportunities. 10 minutes away you can reach the southern tip of Lake Kummerow (8th largest lake in Germany) where there are opportunities for paddling, motor boating and swimming. In the small port town of Kummerow, in the Kummerow Castle, you will find one of the largest collections of contemporary photography in Germany, a small port bar and a bathing beach in front of the castle. We also offer individual sailing turns on our yacht for our guests. At the northern tip of the lake, the Peenestrom opens towards the Baltic Sea, from where you can go paddling and hiking tours lasting several hours into the Peenetal nature reserve. Also 10 minutes away is the Ivenacker Eichen, a National Natural Monument, home to the largest oak tree in Europe. Goods on the Müritz and the Müritz National Park can be reached in 30 minutes. 2km behind Scharpzow begins the nature reserve Ostpeene with beautiful hiking trails. The manor house is on the Fritz-Reuter-cycle path, which runs right through Mecklenburg Switzerland. For a day trip, the port cities of Rostock with the Warnemünde lido, Stralsund and Greifswald can each be reached in 60 minutes by car.

Hallo, wir sind Nina und Albrecht und sanieren in liebevoller Kleinarbeit eine denkmalgeschützte Gutsanlage aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Beruflich sind wir als Fashion-Stylist/Editor (Nina) und Bildender Künstler (Albrecht) neben der Zeit auf dem Land auch viel unterwegs und haben jeweils einige Zeit im Ausland gelebt (Bangkok, Nice, London und Mailand). Mit unserer städtischen und internationalen Erfahrung schauen wir nach bereichernde Schnittstellen zwischen dem Ruralen + Urbanen und freuen uns diesen Ort nun das erste Mal mit Gästen teilen zu können.

Hi, We are Nina and Albrecht, working as a fashion stylist and editor (Nina) and visual artist (Albrecht). In our free time we are restoring a heritage protected site from the 19th century. After living in cities (next to Berlin also in Bangkok, Nice, London and Milan) for the most of our lives, we settled partially - as we still around for work - in the countryside to enjoy all the great benefits of living in rural communities. We are also working on contemporary concepts for urban and sustainable country living and right now we are very much looking forward to welcome our first guests.
