Since 1995, Nancy and Pascal have been welcoming travelers to their bed and breakfast, which has now been transformed into a studio and rooms for travelers. Our unique and peaceful hamlet attracts visitors from all over the world every year, and it's easy to see why. Beautiful views, traditional architecture, quality hiking trails and an ideal location for exploring the Verdon Gorge.

Indawo
Chasteuil, whose origins date back to the 16th century, is a small hamlet perched on the mountainside at an altitude of 900 meters and well exposed to the south. From its picturesque site, it dominates the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon, famous for its Canyon, its hiking trails, its river and whitewater sports, its lakes, and its natural beauty.

Bonjour, je suis Nancy de Californie et mon mari, Pascal, est de Normandie.
Nous nous sommes rencontrés ici à Chasteuil, où je faisais de l'auto-stop et Pascal travaillait comme tailleur de pierre. Plus tard, alors que nous habitions à Santa Cruz en Californie, nous avons eu une révélation : nous allions user de nos talents d'accueil, de cuisine et de maçonnerie pour revenir à Chasteuil et monter notre nouveau projet. Nous avons donc rénové et transformé l'école et la mairie centenaires en chambres d'hôtes et depuis 25 ans, nous accueillons dans notre petit hameau des gens formidables du monde entier. Il y a quatre ans, nous avons acheté le château de Chasteuil du XVIIe siècle (qui est aussi modeste que le village lui-même) et nous sommes ravis de le partager avec les voyageurs.

Hi, I'm Nancy from California and my husband, Pascal, is from Normandy. We met here in Chasteuil, where I was hitchhiking and Pascal was working as a stonemason. Later, while living in Santa Cruz, California, we had a revelation: we were going to use our hospitality, cooking and masonry skills to come back to Chasteuil and set up our new project. So we renovated and transformed the century-old school and town hall into a bed and breakfast inn and for the past 25 years, we have welcomed wonderful people from all over the world to our little hamlet. Four years ago we bought the 17th-century Chasteuil castle (which is as unpretentious as the village itself) and we are delighted to share it with travellers.
